After a bit of a detour fiasco, and a fairly extensive hike - which Emily did in HEELS! - we arrived at the incredible Powell Butte Nature Park which I am now officially in love with. I am also, of course, in love with the outfits these two put together. It's not surprising because they are both designers. Emily is a garment designer and David is a graphic designer. Who doesn't love a classic suit like this? And Emily, being the amazing pro knitter and business-owner she is, made pretty much her entire outfit.

Props to David for coming up with this. . .

I caught this as Emily was looking up to see the hawk that had just landed in a tree nearby. I ended up really liking the expression. . .

They used to be in a band together. Thanks for pullin' out the old harmonica David :).

David and Emily: I enjoy you two and your sincere relationship with each other so much. Thanks for bringing so much of yourselves to your session, and for being such stylish sports trekking up that mountain ;). I look forward to seeing you again!

Heather, we LOVE this! We can't wait to see the rest too, but these are super-beautiful. That hawk photo is such a cool capture, and the apple sequence turned out hilarious. :-) Thanks for being such a good sport about all the unexpected hiking!

These are awesome Heather! Love the vintage feel and everything about this shoot.

Heather, wow! Truly amazing sequence here. I especially love the shot of the heads together and the apples on the blanket. Very nice!
