The Cameo Theatre

I have a thing for small towns.
Growing up, I sincerely thought I would be a city person.  I lived on a farm, but I was sure that as soon as I was old enough I would move to Seattle Washington.  I would drink coffee out of travel mugs and wear orange Fluevog shoes, and live in a tiny little city apartment as I tried to earn my keep as an artist.
I'm sure I could still make that work if I needed to.  But I did what I used to make fun of people for doing.  I fell in love with my hometown.
So Mike and I have made our home here for the past year or two, and we've loved being so close to our friends and my side of the family.
Just this week, we moved even MORE downtown!  We're perched two stories up from the main street here, in an apartment we dreamed about when we were first hunting for a place to live.  I'm super excited to unpack and decorate, and to be even closer to good friends and things to do.  Though I will miss some folk being right over the fence, I find myself constantly appreciating the fact that there are friendly and familiar faces around every corner.  I think it would be harder to get that in the city.
